Christmas is but a distant memory (if you can forget the office party… please forget the office party) time to look forward to the New Year, but what have we to look forward to?
Realis hope to make a announcement in January in respect to the new Tenants that have signed up for City Sentral. Who could they be? Only one way to find out if you can’t wait, E-mail some retailers.
So I sent this email to
YO Sushi, H&M, Nandos, Krispy Kreme, CULT, FatFace, Zara, Giraffe, Wagamama, Cafe Rouge, Hotel Chocolat, AX Paris, Allsaints, Banana Republic, BANK, Boux Avenue, Jigsaw, House of Fraser, Henri Lloyd, Dune, G-Star, Abercrombie, Jane Norman, Kuyichi, Lipsy
When will Stoke on Trent get a ****** store, we have two new development centres one an expansion of the existing Potteries Shopping Centre and a Brand new £350million shopping precinct City Sentral. Have you yet expressed an interest in either development?
Only had few replies so far, some the to be expected noncommittal other more direct and honest
Nando

This is really proactive! Thinking of other shopping centres – Hotel Chocolat isn’t in Stoke is it? I’m trying to imagine what’s not in Hanley but not doing very well! John Lewis? Waitrose said no to Stoke last year but with a new development on the way…?
John Lewis just pulled out of Preston’s proposed £700m city centre “Tithebarn” redevelopment, which had led to that development being scrapped for time being
What about a John Lewis this would be an excellent store to have in your great city
Will they be going ahead with the expansion and new shopping centre. Me and my family would love these shops and more to open. Hanley really needs this if it wants to keep going.
There should be some news on City Sentral in December on what sort of scheme Realis are now proposing.
It really should been Realis demolishing the Old Bus Station, now and not the City Council making a temporary Car Park, we all just have to wait until someone is willing to say what is going on.
