Car Parking Review

On the 15th of March 2013 Cllr Ruth Rosenau, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Planning and Transportation signed the report to approve and fund the £345,000 Stratergy to turn the former bus station into a temporary car park

On the 28th of March 2013 Cabinet approved the Car Parking Review conducted by Cllr Matt Wilcox which reported on Temporary Car Parks finding that

There are a number of companies who have applied for planning permission on land in the city centre for temporary car parks. The Council have not granted permission as there is no demand/need. This has been demonstrated in the current City Centre Car Park Strategy (1)

Were the seemingly conflicting nature of both reports discussed at any Labour Group meeting and what does this mean for the length of time the car park needs to be operating, before covering its initial cost and allow the Bus Station to be demolished for City Sentral to commence.
